I pressed the pieces and sorted them by color and then sat at my sewing machine. This is what I ended up with after about an hour and a half. I have 9 very interesting 10 inch squares. I plan to connect the with a dark fabric and make a quilt with them. This was fun to do.

Working with scraps!
I decided to try something different. I went to a quilt shop in Houma. I bought a $3 bag of scraps...yes, scraps...A few weeks ago I gave someone a big black garbage bag full of scraps. Who knew I would want to try this. It was a nice assortment of pieces. Here they are!

BeeBee,
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I read you gave away a bag full of scraps and then had to go buy some. That happens to me everytime I take something to the Goodwill. I love this scrappy quilt and will look forward to seeing it complete!
